SERBIA

Serbia is located in the heart of the Balkans, sharing borders with Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Romania. Its capital and largest city is Belgrade. The official language spoken in Serbia is is Serbian, which primarily uses the Cyrillic alphabet, though the Latin alphabet is also widely seen throughout the country, which makes it easier for those unfamiliar with Cyrillic. In Belgrade, communicating in English worked perfectly fine, with only a few exceptions. Serbia is not a part of the European Union or Schengen area, but entering the country with a Schengen passprt is relatively easy. However, bear in mind that mobile roaming from the Schengen zone does not apply, so it is necessary to purchase local data for use in Serbia. The country's currency is the Serbian Dinar (RSD), with 1€ equaling 117.16 RSD. To plan your perfect trip to Serbia, read through the blog posts below :)
